Art helps foster local identity and pride, while inspiring creativity and enriching the quality of people’s lives. The developments across our portfolio feature an internationally-inspired range of artwork on permanent display, alongside a vibrant programme of exhibition-based installations, commissioning leading international and local artists to bring art and culture to our spaces. In 2022, we celebrated our 10 th year in partnership with the iconic Art Basel Hong Kong show, this enduring collaboration was founded on the mutual desire to create a cultural dialogue around arts within our community, inspiring the city’s rise to become an international cultural hub with a thriving art scene. For CULTURE AND THE ARTS over 20 years, Swire Properties has supported the Hong Kong Youth Arts Foundation in its commitment to providing high-quality arts opportunities for the city’s youth. We work closely with our partners to contribute to the cultural scene in all the cities where we operate, with events such as the Beijing Music Festival at Taikoo Li Sanlitun and INDIGO; and the youth-focused Canton Culture Summer Camp at Taikoo Hui in Guangzhou. We also provide dedicated spaces for exhibitions and performances, notably our acclaimed, multi- functional art space ArtisTree in Taikoo Place, and The Red in Taikoo Li Sanlitun.
